The most significant factors of how kids (and
the grown-ups too) have fun playing post office as an Interntional Local Post station
comes from interacting with others through the global mail system. Actually corresponding
with others around the world or -- proverbially speaking -- as close as your own 'back
yard.'
- The kids (station agents) usually learn more about commemorative postage stamps, because
they are the prettiest. As an added bonus, the history and interesting topics that cause
the stamps to be special editions in the first place is knowledge gained by the child, who
under other circumstances would never know nor care less.
- Replies in many cases come with unique postage stamps. Foreign mail carries with it
unusual (and pretty) postage stamps and postmarks.
- In some cases, penpal relationships may be formed, with friendships lasting a lifetime.
Not to mention that writing skills -- penmanship and composition, etc. -- are also honed.
One of the essential tools that we also provide in all Intl. LP station start-up kits,
is a mailing list of "kid friendly" respondents
with brief information about likes, dislikes, and who may offer something special in
response to a Station Agent's inquiry. Other International Local Post stations are
included in this mail list too, of course.
But speaking of stamps . . .
What truly sets apart
every International Local Post station from another are the stamps they create for
themselves!
We encourage you to encourage your kids to have more
fun drawing, coloring, painting and of course, making whatever mess goes along with their
creativity. So that it stays absolutely, positively 100% fun for you and your station
personnel, we make the stamps for you - at a very special, low price to further encourage
the kids to be creative. We do the work, you and your kids have all the fun.
Then when the stamps are finished and returned, your station has
it's own, totally unique International Local Post stamps to decorate your mail
with, to exchange with others around the world, and to collect.

Defining "Collectible" Stamps
As a manufacturer of collectible stamps for many years,
we know how to make them correctly for philatelic purposes. Our stamps are of the highest
quality, printed on real dry-gummed (moisture activated adhesive) stamp papers that are pH
neutral and acid free. And, of course, our stamps are authentically pinhole perforated. As
a fine quality stamp, collectible also means that our stamps may be soaked
off an envelope without degrading the image/color quality and will
withstand most, if not all, tests of time.
