 To introduce and mentor today's youth in the
benefits of fun and personal enjoyment that is gained from philately as a lifelong hobby;
and,To promote the hobby of philately in general with specific concerns towards the
hobby's future existence and good health by energizing and piquing the interests of
children today to learn -- either directly or indirectly -- independant responsibilities
and personal knowledge skills such as reading, writing, geography, self-reliance and
discipline, and all other subjects that are represented on stamps and other philatelic
matter from throughout the world; and,
To further motivate or mentor children in the collecting and study of world-wide stamps
and philatelic alternatives through friendly, written communications with others of like
interests and, by hands-on educational activities represented through personal involvement
in operating an organized, fun, Local Post operation of international scope at a level of
involvement that is self-paced.
